Not at all — our dog beds are engineered to be comfortable all year round. We use breathable, temperature regulating fabrics and materials that promote airflow and help dissipate excess heat in warmer weather, while still providing gentle insulation when it’s cooler. In other words: your dog stays cozy in winter and cool in summer.

It’s quick and easy — your dog bed arrives in three pieces:

1. The cushion
   
2. The pod (shell/casing)
   
3. The cover
   

Step‑by‑step:

1. Place the cushion inside the pod casing (the shell).
   
2. Stretch the cover over both the cushion and pod.
   
3. To align it correctly, make sure the Pods 4 Pets logo sits centered on the front of the bed. Then wrap the cover over the edges so it fits snugly and evenly all around.
   

That’s it — less than 60 seconds and your bed is ready for your dog to enjoy!

Yes! All three parts of the dog bed — the inner cushion, the pod shell, and the outer cover are removable and can be washed separately.

• The cover easily slides off and can be washed separately for quick and convenient cleaning.
  
• For a deeper clean, both the cushion and the shell of the dog bed are machine washable.
  
• Always follow the care instructions (e.g. cold or gentle wash, recommended drying method) to keep each part in good shape.

Simple reassembly after cleaning 
The oval shape of our dog beds make it simple to put the cover straight back on after cleaning. No more awkward corners to contend with! By the way, did you know our corner-free dog bed design discourages chewing?

It’s easy and you can wash each piece separately for best results:

1. Disassemble the bed
   Remove the cover, take out the cushion, and detach the pod shell/casing.
   
2. Machine wash (cover, cushion & pod shell)
   Use a cold wash (≈ 30 °C) on a gentle cycle.
   Use a mild, pet‑safe detergent.
   
3. Drying
   Line dry in the shade (avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading).
   Make sure each piece is fully dry before reassembling — moisture left trapped inside can lead to mildew or odors.
   
4. Reassemble
   Place the cushion back into the pod shell, then wrap the cover over, aligning your logo in the front centre as before.

Due to the generous size and structure of our pods, some components may not fit in smaller washing machines. If needed, we recommend washing larger pieces at a laundromat or using a larger-capacity machine

No — whilst they are not indestructible, our dog beds are built to be highly durable. We’ve designed them with features that make chewing difficult: there are no sharp corners to grab or chew, and the materials are tough and long‑wearing.

Think of it like this: our dog beds are built to handle everyday wear & tear — scratching, lounging, even a bit of mouthing — but nothing is completely chew‑proof if a dog is extremely persistent. For most dogs, though, our dog beds will last much longer than standard soft beds.

No — our faux fur covers are made from premium materials and have been tested on our own dogs for over 10+ years without noticeable shedding. We design them so the fur fibers are tightly anchored, and the cover remains soft and plush even with regular use.

Of course, like all fabrics, there may be a very slight amount of loose fiber when the cover is brand new (from cutting or manufacturing), but this settles quickly and is not an issue during everyday use.

No — our dog bed is designed for indoor or covered use only. It’s not built to withstand weather exposure (rain, direct sun, damp ground, etc.).

We offer fast and reliable shipping Australia-wide. Once your order is placed, our team carefully prepares your pod for dispatch — typically within 1–2 business days. You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order is on its way, so you can follow its journey via Australia Post.

For health and hygiene reasons, we’re unable to accept returns if the vacuum seal has been broken. Once the pod expands, it can’t be compressed or repackaged. Additionally, covers, and all other accessories must be unused and in brand-new condition.

If you're unsure about sizing when your pod arrives, please keep the vacuum seal intact and contact us using the contact section below. We’ll gladly help arrange a return or exchange, as long as the bed remains sealed and unused.

• Misuse, rough handling, or use in commercial environments
